Energy saving is an important part of a trail runner's long-distance traversal, which is why we've brought GUIDESOLE technology to the TRABUCO MAX trail running shoe. This trail running shoe offers better cushioning and traction while allowing runners to cover more terrain with less effort. GUIDESOLE technology is a sole construction consisting of responsive toe springs scientifically proven to provide long-term energy savings. Due to the reduced load from foot strike to toe off limb, this technology gives trail runners more potential to run further because they will use less energy to cover the same distance. Grip is an essential part of trail running, which is why we've included ASICSGRIP technology in the outsole. This rubber compound has the function of providing traction, especially in wet and slippery conditions. Combined with the ASICSGRIP outsole, we've applied uphill and downhill lug patterns to improve agility while navigating through varied terrain. We also wanted to provide advanced comfort and cushioning for runners who are on the track for hours at a time. The shoe adds 28 mm under the heel and 23 mm under the forefoot of FLYTEFOAM technology for superior cushioning. Stones and roots are better absorbed by the midsole due to the high stack height.
